This and that, dogs and a sunrise

I just found some photos on my phone that I don’t think have ever made it onto the blog….

They are just phone quality shots of this and that but I feel like sharing.
(in other words – I don’t have time to write a long post today!)

I’m originally a Kiwi who has spent most of my adult life overseas. I try to get home every 2-3 years (not always with success – occasionally too many years slip by), but it’s blogs like yours that remind of what a fantastic and overwhelmingly beautiful place Kiwiland is. It does two things – a) encourages me to book a flight and get home to family and friends and b) when the city and daily life starts to grind me down I can look upon your photos and absorb your words and feel closer to that part of me that is Kiwi.
Sorry if this sounds a bit soppy, but I’m writing while enduring a power blackout (thanks to the iPad I could continue to entertain myself which included surfing the net, which lead me to your blog) and everything seems deeper in the dark.

Charmaine, Sop away… I find good ole beautiful Kiwiland definitely brings that out in people!
Glad you are enjoying my blog and it can bring a smile to your face when you need it🙂
