Happy half birthday to the Kiwi Blog Bus
I just looked in my diary and I have a note that it is exactly six months since I first posted on this blog!
So…. 107 posts later…. 14,213 hits…. visitors from 104 countries … 460 followers… and …..
I’m still totally addicted to it all !!
I love travelling, seeing new places….. seeing old places, taking photographs
I love writing and sharing my (often useless) banter with you all
I love how so many of you like to get back in touch with me about anything or nothing in particular
I love my Kiwi Blog Bus and long may it continue.
Thank you to all my readers, followers and one-off visitors
I hope you found something here that you liked or were inspired by
I hope that something I wrote about has helped you make a great decision of your own
I hope that you can travel to wonderful places, see beautiful sights and meet amazing people

The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” ― Dr Seuss
Hi Kiwi Annison…..I tried to leave a comment on here earlier but there was clearly some kind of operator error on my part……anyway, just wanted to say I stumbled upon your blog yesterday while doing a post on my own blog. We too are from the UK, over in Tauranga for just over 3 years now. Lovely writing style you have, very entertaining.
All the best, Jason
Thanks for the comment Jason
Tauranga is lovely, are you settled in now? 🙂
We were lucky I think, we settled straight away, our four children loved it from day one. We’ve made lots of friends too, its definitely home now. How have you found it? You definitely seem to have embraced kiwi life…. 😉
Yep, We are truly loving the kiwi life and the blog bus just adds to it!
Half a Happy Birthday.
Thanks Bryan!
In the short time I’ve been reading and enjoying your blog and photos, its certainly has inspired me. I’ve felt wistful, nostalgic, happy and proud in hearing what you have to say about my beautiful homeland.
And thank you for the Beatles clip! I dsicovered the Beatles after the tragic death of John Lennon in 1980. My girlfriends and I underwent, at age 14, Beatlemania, twenty years after the fact.
I’m amazed at how far and wide your blog goes… how do you manage to connect with all those people?
I’m off to Vanuatu on Thursday and thought about starting a travel blog, but then realised, me- I’m not so good with words, but not so bad at taking photos. Will share on them flicker when I get home.
Thanks Charmaine – I’m glad you have discovered my blog too
Have a great trip to Vanuatu – would love to see your pics 🙂
You certainly have a better track record that I do – 54 posts in two years. I love it though. Keep it up!
Thanks Erin 🙂
